All applicants need to register by creating an online profile using your full legal name, physical address, date of birth and other information. You will be required to create a username and password. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish (NMDGF) system will then assign each registrant a unique customer identification number. Only one account may be established per person. It shall be unlawful to provide false information when obtaining a NMDGF Customer Identification Number, to apply for or to obtain more than one NMDGF Customer Identification Number or to use another person’s NMDGF Customer Identification Number. Any application received without a valid NMDGF Customer Identification Number will be rejected. Once you are signed up, the system will maintain all information as you have entered it. Signing up only takes a few minutes, but please take your time while registering since everything you enter will be used for your future transactions.

Once your account is established you will not be allowed to change your unique customer identification number, legal name, date of birth, or the last four digits of your social security number. If you have an error with your name, date of birth or SSN contact the NMDGF at 888-248-6866.
